Conservatory of Music and drama November and December events
It's all music and drama from now till Christmas!
Judging by the Calendar of Events from the Conservatory of Music and Drama, the next six weeks will be filled with just that - music and drama! The popular Wednesday lunchtime concerts in Rathmines are back, but there are also lunchtime concerts in Chatham Row on Mondays, and traditional music seminars and recitals on Tuesdays in Rathmines Library.
Other special events include "The Marriage of Figaro" in the Gaiety Theatre, in association with Opera Ireland (23-27 November), DIT's International Bach Week (23-30 November) and a production of "Everyman" - a medieval morality play by drama students (01 - 03 December).
There are also orchestral performances in Gleeson Hall, DIT Kevin Street, and the always popular "Carols for Christmas" with the DIT Chamber Choir in the John Field Room.
